Author: Effective July 5th through the end of the year (2010) the Crawfordsville Rd Exit (Exit 16A) for south bound traffic on I-465 will be closed. This closure is necessitated by the I-465 construction upgrade. Travelers headed to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway can exit at 38th Street from the south bound lanes on I-465, go east 1.7 miles to Georgetown Rd., turn right and head south 2 miles to the track. North bound traffic on I-465 will be able to exit at the Crawfordsville Rd. exit.

Capital Records recording star Luke Bryan will entertain Brickyard 400 fans on July 24, 2010 on the Pagoda Plaza Stage in the infield of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Miller Light Cars and Guitars concert begins at Noon (ET) and is free for fans already admitted to the speedway for Brickyard 400 qualifications. The Leesburg , Georgia native hit the country charts in 2007 with “All my friends say”, “We rode in trucks”, and “Country Man”. He is a rising star in the country music scene and sure to please the Brickyard fans with his own brand of down home country. There is no reserved seating, so arrive early if you want to be close to the stage.
